Air is one of the three main ingredients in producing more power in any combustion engine: AIR, FUEL and SPARK. An improved air intake will allow more air to get into the system; also supplying cooler air for your engine ' both of which are benefits to efficiency and power increases.  Stock air boxes are restrictive, smaller and often house a filter which is also restrictive. After market air intakes are bigger and allow for a higher density of air to pass and make its way to the combustion chamber. So if you want to increase horsepower or scrape up a few extra miles per gallon, air intakes are an inexpensive, yet productive modification that really yields results.

AIRAID - THROTTLE BODY SPACERS

The PowerAid® was developed to enhance your vehicle’s off idle to mid range performance and efficiency. The unique “Helix Bore” design of the PowerAid creates a spinning action of the incoming air. As air passes through your throttle body, this helical effect causes the air molecules to organize and maintain high velocity. The organization and high velocity of the air is extremely beneficial because it helps to provide a superior atomized mixture of fuel and air all the way into the combustion chamber.
